New Music NOW is the collective propaganda agency for new music and is committed to making, playing and sharing new music. We do this together with our Do-It-Together Network of all players active in new music. In the past few years, New Music NOW has been able to distinguish itself as a notable network, festival and platform, gaining an important position in the landscape of new music. Thus, we are building a growing movement and community around new music. And are constantly taking the lead. And what happens then, when composers, musicians, music lovers, connoisseurs and professionals and dedicated media join forces is hugely infectious!

With a heroic team and a huge collective effort from the Do-It-Together network, New Music NOW has already achieved a lot; with the Day of the Composer, New Music Agenda, Radio and TV broadcasts. New Music NOW sets up a dedicated YouTube channel under the label New Music NOW TV, that links to agenda info, profiles and background info of composers. The New Music NOW TV video collection contains about 800 music videos featuring contemporary music ranging from contemporary composed music, electronics, jazz, impro; mainly live recordings but also video clips and interviews. NOW TV we are looking for a Video Description Creator

Subject: Checking and completing descriptions of all videos. Existing descriptions must be checked and supplemented with a programme description, the names of the performers and the titles of the works. In addition, the videos should be tagged so that they can be easily searched for algorithms and viewers.

We are looking for someone who enjoys doing archive work, can work meticulously and understands new music. Someone who enjoys contacting composers and musicians to request missing information. You must be able to write in English fluently. You will work remotely and there will be weekly consultations by video call.

We work with a dedicated team and a large network. You are welcome to join New Music NOW' s other activities, such as the Day of the Composer.
