Before they became K.O.Brass, this quintet conquered the stages of the largest Dutch venues and festivals as the brass section of the renowned Kyteman Orchestra. Their improvisation and jam skills were tested and refined during the fully improvised performances of the Kyteman Orchestra’s Jam Sessions Tour, and K.O.Brass has since tackled a variety of musical challenges. The group has accompanied notable Dutch artists such as Typhoon and Wende, the contemporary percussion group Slagwerk Den Haag, and several theater productions over the years. At the same time, they have developed their unique style as an independent band, describing their finely arranged compositions as “contemporary jazz/pop/neo-classical.”
