Het innovatieve pianotrio Tin Men and the Telephone uit Amsterdam blijft de grenzen opzoeken met cutting-edge technologie. Met de titel ‘It’s about Time!’ spelen de musici met het gegeven tijd, door een voorbeeld te nemen aan principes uit de film, zoals flash backs en flash forwards en daarop te improviseren. Een muzikale en visuele ervaring die het traditionele pianotrio naadloos combineert met interactieve technologie.
Pianist en bandleider Tony Roe won the Boy Edgar Award 2024, the meest prestigieuze jazzprijs van Nederland.
