Remy van Kesteren
Remy van Kesteren
During November Music, Remy van Kesteren (artist-in-residence) teams up with Marcel Veenendaal, the ZO! Gospel Choir, and Martin Fondse to create a full-length concert, enhanced by the lighting design of Jop Kuipers at the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center.
During November Music, Dutch harpist and composer Remy van Kesteren (known as Remy), is the artist-in-residence. With courage and a sense of adventure, Remy chooses his own path, accompanied by exciting, genre-defying ideas and open-minded fellow musicians. Contemporary, challenging, and fearless, Remy charts a journey for himself and his audience. Influences from pop, rock, postminimalism, and jazz flow into his own work and during his dynamic collaborations.
Remy, Marcel Veenendaal, and the ZO! Gospel Choir have previously worked together successfully, including on various TV programs. Now they are creating their first full-length concert together, in collaboration with the Composer of the Fatherland, Martin Fondse. Light artist Jop Kuipers will provide a magical atmosphere in the stunning setting of the Jheronimus Bosch Art Center.
