Tijdens Gaudeamus 2021 in september speelde het New European Ensemble in TivoliVredenburg een programma met een focus op werk van de componisten die genomineerd waren voor de Gaudeamus Award. Annika Socolofsky ging aan het eind van het festival met de Award naar huis. Het New European Ensemble speelde haar stuk 'Don't Say A Word', met Socolofsky zelf op zang. Joep Stapel schreef erover in de NRC: "Annika Socolofsky fluisterde, zong en gromde zélf in haar compacte en intense 'Don't say a word'. Invloeden van folk en Tori Amos smolten met technisch raffinement samen tot een bevlogen betoog." Deze video is een van een reeks video's van Gaudeamus 2021 die in de loop van december en januari worden gepubliceerd in een gloednieuwe samenwerking tussen New Music Now en Gaudeamus.
