Aspasia Nasopoulou

Hitotsu

The piece is composed for Japanese Sho and voice and based on the contemporary poem by Dan Albertson which was especially written for this composition. Nasopoulou’s fasciantion with the plain, elegant and the same time rough minimalism of the different traditional Japanese forms of art comes back in many of her pieces. In this piece nature and eternal wonderings are unfolding via a poetic almost mystic soundscape.
