Aspasia Nasopoulou

Five Single Breaths

The piece was composed for the special sound pallet of Japanese Sho and accordion and was part of the production Forest Passage during Nasopoulou’s portrait in Orgelpark. The plain, elegant and the same time rough minimalism of the different traditional Japanese forms of arts is reflected in different works of hers.‘Five single breaths’ were inspired by five traditional haikus which are contemplating on the elements of wood, water, metal, fire and earth.
