Buma Cultuur promotes Dutch music in all its diversity, from jazz and classical to pop, hip-hop and electronic – on both national and international stages. By supporting creators, connecting music professionals, and expanding the international reach of music created by composers in The Netherlands, we help strengthen the position of Dutch music around the world. Our work takes many shapes. We are offering year-round events and networking opportunities, and hand out awards that shine a light on composers, artists and other professionals working in the music industry. We’re behind key projects such as ESNS, one of Europe’s leading showcase festivals, and New Music Conference during November Music. ADE has become a staple of the dance music world. Through Buma Music in Motion, we focus on the connection between music and media. Our inJazz platform helps Dutch jazz and global sounds make new connections across borders.
