For the last 10 years the composers collective Monoták has been known for surprising concerts, including collaborations with ensembles, guest musicians, philosophers, poets, dancers and a magician.

The members of Monoták are composers who often perform their own music, deal with their own technical needs and promotion when necessary, and offer the occasional tosti and cocktail.

Monoták reaches a broad audience by not only performing at known contemporary music venues, but also at those that receive less attention.

Monoták doesn't stand for a shared aesthetic but a shared trust in diversity.
