In this unique project, Chris Hinze & Friends present Light, an album featuring six tracks recorded in Chris Hinze's personal studio. The video alternates between intimate studio recordings and stunning footage from his travels around the world. Created during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, the project includes collaborations with renowned artists such as Claron McFadden, Mola Sylla, Sandhya Sanjana, Lucas van Merwijk, and Coen Molenaar.

In a gesture of generosity, Chris Hinze decided to donate the proceeds from the album's sales to a charitable cause. After careful consideration, he chose to support De Muziekbox/Stichting de Muziekspeelplaats, a small yet visionary project in the Laakkwartier neighborhood of The Hague. With plans to expand across the Netherlands, this initiative aims to foster creativity and provide musical opportunities to communities in need.
