Jorian van Nee (1999) is a versatile pianist and composer, he studied composition with Willem Jeths. He performs as a soloist, chamber music player and with orchestras such as the Residentie Orkest. On the train he plays his own piano piece Heimweh nach Aussee, in which he makes music from fond memories of an Austrian. He also plays Freydis' song by Noëmi Schermann, who made a striking portrait of the famous Viking woman from Norse mythology. In his own cycle Kinderszenen Jorian enters into a dialogue with Schumann's cycle of the same name. In pieces such as "Träumerei", "Buurmeisje", "Nachtstad" and "Lekker Puh" he recalls memories from his childhood.
