Black Pencil presents adventurous and groundbreaking music at The Green Cathedral (De Groene Kathedraal) during the Land Art Weekend. Calliope Tsoupaki, former Composer of the Netherlands, composed a new piece for the occasion of the artwork’s restoration. The morning concert features music linked to nature, from the early Renaissance to the present day, capturing the sounds of birds, rustling leaves, storms, and summer evenings. Tsoupaki’s work, commissioned by the Province of Flevoland, is inspired by the Green Cathedral, blending the cathedral’s sounds with the composition’s harmonies.
