At Amsterdam Dance Event, Evelien van den Broek presents Biophonica, a powerful project that immerses audiences in the lost soundscapes of extinct and endangered animals. Through recordings gathered from sound archives, scientists, and renowned soundscape ecologist Bernie Krause, Biophonica reconnects us with nature through sound. Van den Broek performs on electronics and synths, accompanied by trumpeter Allison Wright, with visuals by Timo Hoogland.
