Trio Estatico

Trio Estatico, with Bianca Bongers, presents a seamless concert of new works by international composers, including Nina Šenk's premiere of ....da kehrte die Ruhe ein... version II. Other featured works include pieces by Jakob Böttcher, Zhenyan Li, Arshia Samasaminia, and Yang Song, showcasing a mix of live electronics and avant-garde styles. Formed in 2019, Trio Estatico brings together violists Paul Beckett, Megumi Kasakawa, and John Stulz, exploring a wide range of contemporary music and reimagined classical works.

Trio Estatico, in collaboration with Bianca Bongers, presents a thrilling program featuring a seamless listening experience filled with new works by talented international composers. These composers were selected during the ensemble’s Composers Workshop 2021. The program includes the premiere of Slovenian composer Nina Šenk's second version of her virtuoso, yet subdued work ....da kehrte die Ruhe ein....

Trio Estatico is an international viola collective formed in 2019, bringing together violists from three of Europe’s leading contemporary music ensembles. The group, consisting of Paul Beckett, Megumi Kasakawa, and John Stulz, performs in solo, duo, and trio formats, exploring a repertoire ranging from avant-garde composers to modern reconstructions of medieval motets and 20th-century masterpieces for one to three violas.
