Jörgen van Rijen, principal trombonist of the Concertgebouw Orchestra, opens the longest train journey ever with new music, starting with On the Road by Wim Henderickx: for solo trombone and electronics. An apt beginning for this journey. He also performs a solo piece by Martijn Padding. With the brass section of ASKO|Schönberg, he presents the new composition in which Meriç Artaç pays tribute to Amsterdam.
