Miniature 5

  • Concert

The world premiere of Miniature 5 blends electronic and acoustic sounds, where keyboard-generated digital sound is transferred through instruments using audio exciters. The performance explores the construction of hybrid instruments, aiming to integrate sound sources that were once separate.

The world premiere of Miniature 5 is part of a series where the composer explores techniques for integrating electronic sound within an acoustic framework. The digital sounds from keyboards, controlled by the players, are transmitted through the instruments' bodies using audio exciters attached to them. This technique forms the basis for blurring the lines between the acoustic and electronic realms. The ultimate goal is the construction of instrumental hybrids and the total integration of previously separate sound sources.
